Portland Oregon
Hospitality Industry

Welcome to LodgingGuide's hospitality industry listings for the Portland, Oregon area.

Portland is a misty, incredibly green and lush community in the northwest corner of Oregon, on the Columbia River across from the state of Washington, cradled by the Willamette River on the west side, and far enough inland to be insulated from the harsher aspects of the Pacific climate, though close enough to enjoy the ocean’s harvest at its freshest. A full variety of terrains is available to the Portland visitor, with the tallest peak of the Oregon Cascade Mountains, Mount Hood, highlighting the city skyline. Portland’s 5,000-acre Forest Park comprises the largest wilderness area contained within a populated city, and the Oregon Zoo has seen more births of Asian elephants than anywhere else in the country. There is such an abundance of oxygen and freshness in Portland that, even if you miss the numerous bicycle paths and hiking trails that weave in and around the city, you will feel noticeably healthier for just having visited.
